Talked to several local schools about my interest in getting my PPL. Most schools were very pushy in trying to sell me something and get me locked in. My friend told me to give this place a call and I ended up talking to a CFI named Marko. He was very friendly, took almost 40 minutes to walk me through exactly what it would take, the cost and the timeline. He was very honest and I could tell he had my best interest at heart rather than trying to just sign up another student. Once I’m ready to train, this will be the place I will train at.
Absolutely fantastic! So glad I found the school after trying a different place at Van Nuys. Hawthorne is such a nice airport; last week I was #1 in the pattern 5x in a row. Take that KVNY. But most importantly, they paired me with the best CFI that I could have asked for – Marko makes the sessions super fun and just gets me, sets up an efficient training plan and helps me build confidence. I feel super well taken care of, Jonathan and the rest of his team have been super nice and helpful. I wish I had found them earlier.
